Nano booking to begin as scheduled in April
Tata Motors said the booking for its small car Nano, touted as the cheapest in the world, in India would begin as per schedule in the second week of next month.
"The booking for Nano is not being advanced and would begin as per the stated schedule in second week of April," a Tata Motors spokesperson said.
Reacting to comments made by some officials of the company, the spokesperson said they might have mixed-up between the launch and booking dates.
On February 26, Tata Motors, India's largest auto maker, had said Nano would be launched on March 23, while bookings would start from the second week of April.
Tata Motors is showcasing the European version of Nano at the Geneva Motor Show.
